| Richard joined HealthSouth in 2001 and has spent more than 20 years working for hospitals. He graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor’s degree in public administration. He has been a chief financial officer for four years prior to becoming a chief executive officer for ten years. He is an active member of the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association by chairing the Arizona Rehabilitation Providers sub-committee and serving as a board member for the Arizona Services Corporation. Richard is also the Chairman of the 2012 Phoenix Heart Walk. |
| Diane M. Caruso, MSN, FNP-c, WCC | |
| Chief Nursing Officer | |
| Diane is a two time graduate of Arizona State University, with her bachelor of science and master’s of science degrees in Nursing, as well as a Family Nurse Practitioner certification. Her clinical career includes expertise in acute care surgery, complex wounds and burn care, as well as reconstructive therapies. Diane has been a guest lecturer and academic presenter at multiple regional and national meetings, and is an Advanced Burn Life Support instructor and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Diane is very active in the community, working with various non-profit organizations including the Bob K Memorial, the Arizona Burn Foundation and the 100 Club of Arizona. |

| Cathy Joseph has been with HealthSouth since 1997. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in occupational therapy. She has worked in Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Arizona in a variety of health care positions and settings. She considers Arizona her home and loves acute care rehabilitation. |

| Lisa joined HealthSouth Scottsdale in April 2007. Lisa graduated from Arizona State University in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She was an audit manager for seven years with Deloitte & Touche and has more than 15 years of controller experience. |

| John has more than 20 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance. He has completed an electrical apprenticeship/journeyman in Pennsylvania and continues to pursue a degree in Computer Information Systems. John most recently served as a chief building engineer for a multi-building, high-rise structure in the greater Phoenix area. |

| Janice has been with HealthSouth Scottsdale for seven years. She comes with more than 30 years of experience as a nurse leader in the acute care setting, 15 years of which were in quality and risk management. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and DePaul University with a master’s degree in nursing administration. She also attained a national certificate as a health care professional. |

| Kristin recently returned to HealthSouth’s Human Resources department (2011) where she began her HR career in 2004. She has since served in various HR leadership roles where she was responsible for developing and driving strong, proactive HR teams and activities with organizations that include The Art Institute of Phoenix, DeVry University and Frito Lay. Kristin graduated from Arizona State University with her B.S. in Global Business and earned her MBA with a concentration in Human Resources Management in 2010. Kristin is an avid dog lover and an aspiring endurance athlete looking forward to completing her first Ironman triathlon. |
| Keith W. Cunningham, M.D. | |
| A graduate of the University of Florida, Dr. Cunningham completed his residency in internal medicine at the Oregon Health Sciences University. He became a member of the American College of Physicians and board certified in 1997. He has been an active member at HealthSouth since 1999 and has served as medical staff president since 2004. Dr. Cunningham has served on several local hospital committees and acts as an associate preceptor for medical students. His interests include the integration of the multidisciplinary medicine rehab approach to the compromised patient to improve outcomes. |
